Getting around from this rental
Before deciding, check the actual distance from this rental to work, university, public transport, food and everyday essentials. An area name alone does not always reflect real travel time.
Checks to make before payment
Before agreeing, confirm the move-in date, tenancy period, deposit, utilities, notice requirements and house rules. Important terms should be clear before money changes hands.
Common renter questions
How should I judge the location?
Compare travel to work or university, transport options, food, groceries and other everyday needs.
When should I make payment?
Pay only after the important rental details are confirmed and you know who is authorised to receive the money.
A practical rental checklist
Use the listing as a starting point and confirm important details directly. Pay attention to the real cost, condition of the room or unit, access around the area and tenancy terms so the rental better matches your expected stay.
Before confirming the rental, make sure the important information is still current. Recheck availability, monthly rent, deposit and move-in timing because listing details may change after an advertisement is published.
If a detail is unclear in the listing, ask before committing. Confirming important information early can reduce misunderstandings later.
